Leadership Academy’s Grown Ups Camp combines all of the freedoms of adulthood with the joy of play in the natural beauty of a summer camp setting. Whether you want to meet new friends, or reconnect with old ones, there’s no better place to do that than around a campfire, with s’mores in hand.
With a wide variety of activities to choose from, Grown Ups Camp lets you choose your own adventure by customizing your camp experience for the perfect weekend away. Camp activities vary by location, but all sites offer the perfect combination of relaxing hobbies, classic camp games, and outdoor adventure.
Activities include:
- Fun on the Water: tubing, sailing, swimming, canoeing, kayaking, fishing, water
skiing, blob tower, slip n’ slide, water slides, and wake-boarding - Camp Classics: archery, high ropes, arts and crafts, gaga ball, capture the flag,
climbing wall, tennis, basketball, volleyball, tetherball, ultimate frisbee, relay races, obstacle courses, low ropes, and campfires. - Camp-Wide Competitions and Events: Color War, Camp Olympics 2016, dance parties, talent shows
With a fun balance of individual and group activities, there is plenty to do on your own, with your cabin-mates, and with everyone at camp.
The best part? Camp is all-inclusive! Here’s what your registration covers:
- ALL camp activities: No additional fees will be charged for camp activities once you’re registered. Just make sure to reserve your spot for high-demand activities in advance.
- ALL meals, snacks, and drinks: We’ll be serving up just the right mix of nostalgic, healthy, and delicious snacks and meals to fuel your adventures. Just be sure to alert us to dietary restrictions or food allergies ahead of time. [And we promise: no flashbacks to the weird sights and smells of the camp cafeteria!]
- ALL accommodations: No camp experience is complete without cabin time! Registration covers 2 nights of accommodation in camp housing. Our cabins sleep 10-15 people and include bathhouses with full bathrooms. Although we appreciate a rustic experience, all sleeping and bathroom facilities are equipped with modern amenities for a comfortable stay and a good night’s sleep. If you want to share a cabin with friends joining you at camp, just let us know.
- ALL parties and nightlife: Camp is 21+. All sessions offer many opportunities for “Grown Up Fun”: live music, dancing, talent shows, karaoke, and more. Each evening kicks off with Happy Hour, and we offer a great selection of cocktails, craft beer and wine all weekend.
