Hello Parents!
We are so glad your child will be joining us for a summer full of outdoor adventure! Imagine the stories told after spending their days exploring. Your child will have unforgettable fun while learning outdoor skills and building character strengths that last a lifetime.
Leadership Academy’s goal is to help children fall in love with nature and immerse themselves in the beauty of the outdoors. Thank you for choosing Leadership Academy’s camp this summer!
Our Mission
At Leadership Academy, our mission is to enhance the development of children aged 5-17 through purposefully designed summer day camps. We believe in the transformative power of play and exploration, recognizing their impact on fostering creativity, confidence, and social intelligence. We believe that outdoor recreation fosters intrinsic motivation and happiness, and allows each child to make a profound connection to nature and their fellow campers.
Our Program
Adventure camp offers theme-based sessions not tied to any specific location. This unique approach allows us to curate diverse experiences tailored to ignite the passions of teen and tween campers. Whether your camper is a water enthusiast seeking to hone their paddle skills amidst the serene beauty of nature or an adventurer yearning to embrace the wilderness under the stars, this camp has something for everyone.
At our camp, we prioritize skill development and fostering a sense of wonder, camaraderie, and a commitment to a healthy and active lifestyle.
Join us for an unforgettable summer filled with exploration, growth, and endless memories waiting to be made!

Weather Policy
Adventure Camp’s weekly schedule is written closer to camp. We try our best to plan for the climbing gym or caving if rain is in the forecast, but sometimes predictions change. Since this is a van-based camp, we do change destinations on the fly based on weather, but we always communicate that to parents either in the morning at drop-off or by text. As with all our camps, there is a chance that we will shelter from thunder storms in a picnic shelter playing games.
Camp Behavior Policy
*Please review with your child before arriving at camp.
We want to cultivate the naturalist in your child and engage them with their immediate environment. It will be a fun week at camp, especially if your camper(s) already know what is expected from them. Read these guidelines with your child.
Campers are expected to respect each other, their counselors, and themselves. We are a camp that encourages each other and does not tolerate putdowns. We are trying to learn something challenging and new, so we need to have patience with the process and with each other. We always pitch in to clean up and help out. We always think about safety first! This means we make good decisions, ask questions, and listen to the instructors at all times.
Camp staff will work with your child to redirect minor behavior issues with listening, cooperation, or positive participation. More disruptive behavior will be brought to the attention of the camp director, and the parent will be notified at check-out or by phone.
A camper may be asked to leave camp (without a refund) if the director determines that the camper is compromising their safety or that of their group. This could include verbally threatening other group members or acts of aggression/violence such as hitting, kicking, or biting. Also, if a camper repeatedly leaves the group unannounced and cannot be kept safely supervised, they may be sent home without a refund.
Emergency Communications Plan
Although we do our best to stay safe and prevent injuries, sometimes accidents happen. In the case of an injury or an emergency, we will do our best to communicate with parents or emergency contacts as soon as possible.
*Please note, that camp does not provide any transportation. In case of an injury or emergency, the camp staff will assess the situation and call emergency services as appropriate. Once the nature of the injury/emergency has been established, parents will be notified by the camp director or the CEO. If the child’s parents cannot be reached, the designated emergency contacts will be called. If the injury or emergency is not life-threatening but requires further medical attention, the parents or emergency contacts will need to provide transportation to seek care.
